Sri Gnana Venkateswara Swamy Temple is a long cherished dream of hindu people residing in the Bandlaguda Jagir municipality. It is situated on top of a hill rock called Shakharagutta which is an ancient holy place in the Gandhamguda village. The temple complex is spread in approximately 5 acres area. 

With voluntary work by Temple trust and generous financial help by many, near and far devotees, the Bhoomi puja for construction of temple was held in 2011. Renowned shilipi’s from Tamilnadu were engaged to construct this monument. 

Prana Pratishta of idols of Lord Sri Venkateswara, Goddess Sridevi, Goddess Bhudevi, Sri Garuda, Sri Anjaneya swamy and Dhwaja Stambham is carried out by Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji, Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Devanatha Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamyji and his highly esteemed line of monks amid chanting of Vedic mantras.

The temple is opened for the public after Prana Pratishta of idols on 12th May 2022. The temple complex includes Main temple dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple and Navagraha temple. Maha Shivalayam and Sri Sidhi Vinayaka Swamy temple will be constructed soon.

Every Saturday in the afternoon at Temple premises, counter free annadanam is sponsored to 500 devotees.

All the pujas of this temple are performed, in the similar way of Tirumala by learned poojaris.

Daily pujas, like Suprabhatam, Viswarupam, TomalaSeva, Archana, Sahasranama Archana, Ashtadala Padapadmaradhana, Nijapada Darshanam, Abhishekham, Kumkumarchana, Unjala Seva, Vahana Seva are performed. Apart from regular puja’s Satya Narayana katha, Kalyanotsavam etc. are performed on specific days at particular timings.

The regular festivals like Vaikunta Ekadasi, Telugu New Year Ugadi, Sri Rama Navami, Vinayaka Chavithi, Vijaya Dasami, Deepavali, Karthika Poornima are celebrated regularly with very large public gatherings.

On Sri Rama Navami day, the celestial wedding of Lord Rama and his consort Seetha is performed in grand and traditional manner in the temple premises. The celebrations will be held in an open place so that more devotees will get chance to visit the temple hillock during festival days.

Monday to Sunday 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
